Upon arrival at the port, you’ll be greeted by your guide who will accompany you on an exploration of the ancient city of Ephesus. Renowned as one of the world’s most significant ancient cities, Ephesus invites you to embark on a downhill stroll through its Roman ruins. Highlights of your journey include:

Step 2: TURKISH BATH (HAMAM)

After your visit to Ephesus, you’ll be transported to a traditional Turkish Bath. Here’s what you can expect:

Arrival: At the entrance, you’ll receive tokens and instructions.
Preparation: In the dressing room, change into a peştamal, a traditional cotton wrap. Secure your belongings in a locker and keep the key with you.
Hot Area (Sıcaklık/Caldarium): Enter the main hot area featuring a central heated marble platform. This space also includes bathing basins (kurna) and private cubicles (halvet). Start by relaxing on the marble or using the basins to heat up.
Bathing Process: Lie on the marble for a thorough exfoliating scrub and bubble wash. Then, move to a basin where your attendant will wash you. Feel free to return to the marble platform to sweat and relax as you wish.
Cooling Down: When ready, dry off with provided towels. Afterward, you can unwind in the cooler area of the bath and perhaps enjoy a refreshing drink.
Cultural Experience: To immerse yourself further in the local culture, we’ll introduce you to the art of handmade carpets and rugs at the Teaching Village.
