Start your day with an early transfer from your hotel to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport and take you to explore Ephesus. This ancient Greek city, located on the coast of Ionia in what is now modern-day Turkey, offers a fascinating glimpse into the past.
Following your visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, you’ll travel to the Ancient City of Ephesus. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll embark on a downhill stroll through the remnants of this Roman metropolis. As you explore, you’ll pass by key landmarks including the Bouleuterion, the Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsus Library, and the Great Theater.
Then, you’ll be driven to The Temple of Artemis (Diana). The temple was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
We invite you to explore the local culture of Ephesus with a visit to a traditional weaving workshop, where you’ll see exquisite handmade carpets and rugs being crafted. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to admire a variety of Ephesus’s ceramics, showcasing the region’s rich artistic heritage.
Once the tour in the Ephesus region concludes, we’ll transfer you to Izmir Airport. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you’ll be greeted at the airport and then transferred to your hotel.
